Winning may be a competition for some people but, for most it is succeeding in a person’s life. Not always will there be just one winner they may be several winners. In some cases if a person gets first place why does someone else have to be in last or they only got second. In the Olympics the top three are stars. The third place person did not get first place however, in the eyes of their admirer they accomplished something huge. On the same lines of the Olympics if America won over 90 percent of the gold medals then the team as a whole has accomplished something big. Not just one person has to win but everyone as a team can win. If I were to get first place in an event but the next year turn around and get second place, that does not make me a loser that just means there is someone out there better than me. I just have to try harder to prove myself better the next go around. If there is a time and someone comes along and they always win and they think they are better, what makes that person better? How is one to judge winning for losing? Someone who brags about there winnings but wont share their joy with others are just as much of a loser to the one who came in dead last. One person can make a difference, if the person who got first place stood up and said I am not the only winner here these people standing next to me are also winners, then that makes a true winner and someone who stands up and shows who is a true winner. People who don’t say ‘hey thanks but the real winner is….’ That is someone who deserves to get recognition for their accomplishments. People who are winners are those who are a team player not a one man/woman show.
